So it turned out that we had two ladybugs living in the bathroom. I have kept a close watch to make sure they did not mate and start an invasion in there.
Don had his appointment with the retina specialist and found that the wet macular degeneration was just starting in his left eye. So he got an injection in that eye, too, and will now be getting two injections every five weeks instead of just one. After we left the doctor’s office we at lunch at The Fix because burgers really are the best medicine. We had the burger salad. The burger is on a big slab of lettuce with all the fixings all around. Delicious!
Flowers finally started to bloom this month. But we have really only had a couple of really warm days. On one of those days our A/C went out, so we had to have that repair made. I hope we are all set for summer now.
Since it’s warmed enough I let both of the bugs out into the wild. I do hope they survive! I became quite attached to one of them. Or maybe both of them since they looked exactly alike LOL!
On Easter, we drove up to Claremont and spent the night at The Common Man Inn. We had a room that looked out on the rushing water. It came complete with sound effects. It was an enjoyable getaway.
So it’s a rainy Saturday afternoon here. We have started watching Homeland. I could sit and binge watch but Don does good to stay awake for one or two episodes at a time. I am enjoying watching it though since we rarely ever watch television together.
I started knitting a shawl but it is not a good project for watching tv because I get lost in the pattern when I don’t play close attention. I do have a couple of things going though that are pretty mindless knitting so I work on them while I watch.
