Grilled Romaine

I should try to take better pictures, but I am usually in such a hurry to dig in  :w00t:   Some time back Chef Peg mentioned grilling romaine lettuce and ever since I’ve been determined to try.  This was my first attempt, but won’t be my last.  It was good!  I needed to sprinkle the cheese on it quicker so that it could melt.  Peg didn’t mention using cheese, but recipes I Googled did, so I tried it that way.  Honestly, I think I’d like it with just salt and pepper.

I just split the head in half, sprayed with olive oil from the Misto, and sprinkled with salt and pepper. Yummy!

So no post yesterday, but I did track my eating out.  It was not exactly pretty, but I entered it all – let’s see 54 points, meaning I used up all my earned activity points and some of my weeklies.  BUT big for me – I did track.  I still have weekly points left.  The thing is I never ever use those, so it seemed strange to me.

Tonight my HP laptop died.  As much as I have griped about it, I am going ot miss it.  I wish it would turn on one more time. I have no clue what I have on there, but likely nothing that I can not do without.  I wonder if it is even worth having someone check to see if it can be revived.

I’m ready to hop in the car and go buy myself a replacement, but Don is sitting there sleeping on the sofa.  If it was not raining I’d just take off myself.  I guess it can wait, but tomorrow I will be lost without my laptop next to my “work desk”.

  2. Oh now I really need to try the grilled romaine. It looks wonderful.

    A couple of weeks ago my HP laptop went through some issues too. It wouldn’t turn on. I took it in and they said it was a windows problem. They cleared everything and started from scratch. It is working fine now but it was a pain in the butt to put everything back on it.
